Good seafood in Charlotte Amalie?

We were hoping to stay in town and have good seafood. Anyone have suggestions of a place serving fresh fish and other seafood in the town? We will be there next week and thanks for any recommendations.

Jen's Caribbean Grill. Her husband is a fisherman, so she always has something fresh.

We have eaten at The Greenhouse in town several times and found their Bang Bang Shrimp, Mahi Mahi and Grouper to be very fresh and delicious. You can't beat the location, across from the sea with beautiful views from their open air windows.

I'm interested now in trying Jen's Caribbean Grill since the husband is a fisherman.

It was Gladys's cafe. We ate there previously and it was fine. This trip we returned our appetizers; service was not good and we would not go back.

We had fish sandwiches and the piece of fish was the size of a big postage stamp.

The place was packed so others know the place.

Thanks for your opinion. Many people rave about Gladys', but it has always disappointed me.

I can't speak about many of the places listed above but Jen's grill closes around 4PM, we went to Sapphire beach for a few hours than the taxi back to the market right by Jens. We wanted to get in to Jens for some conch but when we got in there the grill was closed. Someone said that a lot of the places are like that, by like that I mean the grill closes up early. You might want to get you food early than go do what ever else you plan to do.
