velmasue Posted July 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2014 We have been out of Baltimore a couple of times on the Grandeur of the Seas. My husband has COPD and the last time we boarded he had a very difficult time going up the ramp. I noticed that some folks were boarding on a lower deck. What would we need to do in order to be extended that option?
MedicKen Posted July 28, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2014 The last time we were on Grandeur I was in a boot. I simply asked the agent at the bottom of the ramp and they directed be to the deck 1 entry. You may have to be a bit persistent.
Mkehlb Posted March 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2015 Do you ask about this when you are still in the cruise terminal?
chengkp75 Posted March 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2015 (edited) That would be the crew gangway, and they can get you there. You could also ask for wheelchair assistance to the passenger gangway, explaining about the COPD. Edited March 11, 2015 by chengkp75
