Breakaway - which restaurant requires men to wear pants for dinner?

i'm sorry that you had to confuse a request for information as an opportunity to be sarcastic. Surely you could have simply indicated the dress code and kept your snippy comments to yourself. Thanks for nothing

Well, to be fair, you're the one that asked an improper question (based on what you really wanted to know) because you asked which restaurants wanted you to wear pants, not long pants, not shorts, just pants. Therefore, while it may sound sarcastic, the very first answer answered your question as you posed it.

You could just go "Dang, what a stupid question, what I meant was........" instead of getting upset with someone for answering the question you asked.

The problem with the OPs question is he used a slang term for an item of clothing which was misinterpreted rather than using the correct terminology for the item which is trousers. I think he should blame himself for this rather than attacking people who subsequently answer his question

Shorts are acceptable everywhere except LeBistro and the aft MDR according to NCL's FAQ page

Thank you.

I'm not the OP but I thought this was correct and I came into this thread since we only have specialties booked (with the exception of LaCuccina) and wanted to make sure it was just LeBistro regarding the pants.

OP, we cruised last year on the Breakaway and did all the specialties (with exception of LeBistro) and my dh and ds wore nice dress shorts each night for dinner.

Will be on in less than 2 weeks! Can't wait!

Although it seems that shorts also aren't allowed in Ocean Blue.
