Rare welshfamily Posted July 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2014 I have read with interest many of the posts on the Premium Drinks package but cannot find definitive answers to the following, Are any of the wines in Cellar Masters covered by the Premium drinks package? What about the smoothies in the Aqua spa cafe? If we would like a Champagne cocktail do we get to choose our Champagne and pay the difference or is it better to buy a bottle? Finally please recommend some cocktails for us to try? We sail on Saturday. Thank you all
gwilli Posted July 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2014 We spent most of our bar time at the Martini Bar. The bartenders can make any drink...but their martinis are excellent. If you are there when they are busy, you may see them pour a flight of drinks....we saw them pour 7 at a time. What a show! Cheers!
cruisead Posted July 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Depending on what ship you're on, Cellar Masters may no longer exist, and it probably will be gone on all Celebrity ships in the future. If you order a champagne cocktail, they use house brands of champagne. I highly doubt they'd open an expensive bottle of champagne for just a couple of cocktails. Smoothies are covered everywhere on the Premium package. Some wines are included in the price limits for the package in all bars, restaurants and lounges. Ando Posted July 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) Wine in Cellar Masters that is poured by the bar staff is included if under the premium package limit, or if above the limit you just pay the difference + 15% gratuity. The wine dispensing machines in Cellar Masters (which I think have been or are being removed) are NOT included in the beverage package. We loved Cellar Masters on our last cruise, and looking forward to it again on Solstice this year, and were there nearly every night before, and often after, dinner. One of the appealing factors to us was that it was so quiet - there were never more than a handful of other guests there, which is why, unfortunately IMHO, they have turned the space into the Gastrobar on one ship (Eclipse?) with others most likely to follow. Not a big cocktail drinker myself, but loved the 20-year Martini, which is included on the premium package. Also had a few times at the Sunset Bar one that was called something like Summer Solstice. Cant remember what was in it exactly but it was bright red and yellow from memory and went down way to easily :-) Enjoy your cruise and premium package - we won't leave home without it :D Cheers Ando Edited July 29, 2014 by Ando
