shot2bits Posted July 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2014 With loads of things that will need charging, what type of sockets are there in the cabins? European 2 pin, round or American type with flat pins. Thanks. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Sent from my iPad using Forums http://cruiseforums.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2072354 Check the position of the earth pin on your Euro 220v adaptor, as per the text. I believe you might be able to borrow an adaptor from customer services on a cash deposit - not sure if Thomsons offer this or not ? Tiggertastic Posted July 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2014 I thought they were european sockets but we always take both a euro and usa adapter just in case
Rare dronnygirl Posted July 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2014 We had 2 sockets over the dressing table - one 3 pin British and the other American Not sure if all the cabins are the same.......
WeeCountyMan Posted July 30, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 30, 2014 I haven't seen UK 3 pin sockets on Spirit, therefore assumed Celebration would be same ? The USA sockets will be 110v.

Isis2 Posted July 30, 2014 #10 Share Posted July 30, 2014 We have an adapter plug that we brought years ago from a very large chemist chain, "These BOOTS were made for walking" and it does all of Europe and USA you just "play with it" to get it to fit the right socket, its a god send that way we never have to worry about what plugs etc is on a ship we just grab our adapter and go.
