Premiere casino cruise

Doesn't it just figure? I never, ever, get anything other than about $25 in casino cash. Well, I did get a gift basket once. No big discounted fares; certainly no free offers.

So, there's my NEW Premier Casino Offer! Yippee!

Except I'm already booked for a 11/1 cruise (not one of those listed; I'm on the Splendor repo San Juan to Miami) and I have work deadlines on 9/15 and 10/15, so I can't sail before then and sure can't go again right after! I don't want an offer for early next year, either. I'm a tax CPA. I can only sail from late April until mid-summer, and again from late October until mid-December.

Sigh. I always seem to have the WORST timing.

But at least I can stop whining about how the Players Club just ignores me. ;)

Got it and booked Pride. Was already looking at Pride for 11/30 or 12/7. Was easy decision. Phoned TA but would only take info and said would get back with me. Phoned PVP who calls and emails me all the time and he got back with me right away. Took TA 24hrs to get back and only offered $75. obc and $7. more in port fees/taxes. Going to stay with PVP since was such good service.

We got ours unfortunately can't book a 3rd cruise this year bummer.

Now that the PVP can book these rates, IT'S SO MUCH BETTER

Our PVP is wonderful and keeps an eye out for these for us just in case we miss them.

The last round they offered a Premier Cruise out of NYC, not sure with Splendor moving out of NYC if she will be replaced for the winter. I had already had one of those dates booked on the Breeze, called and for an additional $10.00 they switched me over to a premier cruise!

What are the dates and ships for the new premier cruises. Been on 3 and love them but no offer in my messages. Booked on Liberty October 25th. Is that one of them?

They are: Dream 10/19, Glory 10/25, Sunshine 11/1, Liberty 11/7, Breeze 11/8, Conquest 11/16, Magic 11/16, Freedom 11/29 and Pride 11/30. I love them too.

I want the 8-night Freedom.

You know, I just may ask if I can have another week off. We don't get really busy until mid-December with year-end planning. No, I can't afford to sail for a 3rd time this year. But, hey! I have a $37 credit from a price drop on SW.

Air is cheap, too! RT RDU-FLL 11/29 return 12/7 for just under $250!

Sure would be nice if they'd make this a no-single-supplement sailing, too! I wouldn't hesitate if that were the case.

Hmmm. I really must give this some thought. Wonder how much Casino Cash they're offering.

So, has anyone booked one? Any way to know what the casino cash will be? I'm looking at the last two. Love the itinerary for Freedom but loved Pride when I sailed her in May (and I like that itinerary, too).

Air would be slightly higher to Tampa. Fare is quite a bit less for Pride (as a solo, that matters), but port fees are more. Taking air into consideration, Freedom would only be about $75 more, but it's an extra day.

So, cruise cash might be the deciding factor. If I only knew what it would be! The promo says "Casino Cash may vary based on sailing." MAY vary. One would hope that the higher fare sailings would offer more casino cash, but who knows?

Anyone?

I just checked my emails (including my spam folder) and don't see anything. Was it from the Player's Club or directly from Carnival?

I need to email the Players club to find out what (if anything) I'll be getting for my 11/1 cruise. Guess I could ask about Casino Cash offered with this, but I was hoping to go ahead and get something booked this weekend. It could take them days to respond. :(

I got one too. We went on a premier cruise in June and it was great. Free drinks, $300 casino cash, gifts in cabin every day, won $250 in one of the multiple daily drawings, and won the blackjack tournament ($500).

I'm going on the Breeze November 16 for the big blackjack tournament so I can't take advantage of these new premier offers.

Doesn't come in a email but a promotional mail will be sent out.

The other way is to do a "mock" booking.

When doing so, they will post "Casino offer" price.

I don't understand how you can get on the "list" for the offers or when you can get dropped.

We aren't huge spenders but have gotten offers. We will be going on our 3rd premier cruise next week. We love them.

One thing to note, sometime the "the special price" isn't so special. It's based on a original price etc. I could have gotten my cabin for less if I booked last month than I'm paying for it through the premier. BUT by the time you add the free drinks, casino cash and gifts, we still end up ahead in the long run, plus a lot of fun.

My husband thinks that we got on a list because we got to know the casino manager on one cruise.

When they put in their system of using your sign and sail card years ago, I was playing in the casino and employee's were coming up to me and saying hello Carla, can I get you a drink Carla. I got paranoid and thought I was playing way too much. I didn't realize that my name was popping up on the machine for anyone to see LOL:rolleyes:

Are these given out completely random? I didn't see anything today after checking special offers under my VIFP but I do recall getting these casino premier cruise deals in the past, I also got the free casino pack and play deal couple months back but didn't see anything this time. Guess maybe they figured they just recently gave us a free cruise, don't want to spoil us too much :D

I've gotten to know several of the casino managers on various ships. Didn't get my anything.

I have done the mock booking. That's how I know what it will cost me as a solo. But that doesn't tell you what you'll get for casino cash.

If it's $300, I'm booking (that will more than cover the air). If it's considerably less (I normally only get $25 or $50 for a "regular" sailing), that's not much of a "premier" offer, is it?

I mean, I regularly get $100 casino cash offers from HAL and I only sailed them once, 3 years ago!

I'm not a big gambler, but when I'm solo, I tend to spend more time in the casino. I got to the Drinks on Us point on each of my past two cruises (within the past year), so that may be why I received this offer.

Wish I could book one of the really cheap ones, but I just can't because of work deadlines and the fact that I'm already sailing on 11/1 (and I am not cancelling that one), so the end-of-November ones are the only ones I may be able to book.

I'd ranted to my PVP on more than one occasion about other people receiving FREE cruises while I wasn't even getting a discounted rate. So, now that I have received an offer, I'd like to take advantage of it. If my PVP can't tell me, I may try calling the Players Club tomorrow.
