sportsmum Posted July 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) I am looking at 2 Panama Canal Cruises. HAL and Princess. I love the AFT facing cabins on the HAL but love the smoking policy of Princess. My pro an con list is being made!:) My question regarding Princess: I posted one of the cruises on a competition site and saw an ad for the Princess cruise I was about to post next. It was advertised as a 'couples cruise'. I could not find the definition of couples cruise so I went to Mr Google and typed in 'couples cruise'. I am PRETTY sure that's not what Princess means. I looked up the roll call for the date I am looking at and it doesn't look like those people are expecting what RCCL was describing.:D Therefore, can anyone clarify what a Princess Couples Cruise is? Maybe it's just this TA's way of selling cabins but maybe it's not something I am interested in. My wildest fantasies on a cruise usually involve having a second breakfast and a nap.....those are GOOD TIMES, MAN! Colo Cruiser Posted July 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2014 Sounds like that title was created by a TA, maybe for a "group" cruise. I would look closer at that to make sure you knlw what it is they are getting at. Also there are no aft facing cabins on the Coral/Island Princess. Rare martincath Posted July 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2014 If that departure is available to book through Princess direct, it's 100% NOT going to be what you fear it is. The only way those happen is with a whole ship charter!
