123 or book on board?

Booking on-board offers tend to come & go / change (in the same way that on-line offers do)

But there is usually an EXTRA PERK for booking on-board

Depending on WHEN you are looking at cruising next you could book under the on-line current offer and then cancel it when on-board if they are offering better deals / perks then

Just make sure you have the latest info when you head to Future Bookings (get it off the Internet aboard... Current offers - Tuesday Deals - Sales - Captain's Club Specials etc)

This is what we are doing for our May 2015 Bermuda Cruise

Booking now with the 123GO Offer and the Captain's Club 25 Bonus Points Offer both ending July 31st

On-board in December BEFORE Final Payment we will reevaluate... And cancel / rebook if necessary with a Future Sailings Consultant

Hope this helps,

Cheers!

PS - 50% deposits are available to Captain's Club Members most of the time (on-board or ashore)... All you have to do is ask for it. Edited by Sloop-JohnB
Yes it does help. Extra Obc then verses possible rate increase and the bonus points now but likely not then.

I didn't realize we could cancel and rebook onboard.
Just note that it is easier to cancel on-board IF the reservation is not been handed off to a TA... Then you can do it yourself. If you have moved it to a TA then you have to coordinate with the TA to cancel / release it... That can be more complicated at sea / on vacation when it comes to communications (phone calls, emails, fax etc)

One more reason to be very aware of the fine print and all your deadlines (Final Payment Date - TA Transfer Deadlines etc)

Cheers!
