Getaway - Large balcony vs Spa balcony

Trying to decide if it worth the money to upgrade to the spa balcony for an extra $300.

We looked into the spa balcony and the AFT balcony - we chose the AFT for the larger balcony - it was really roomy with two chairs and two lounges and a table. DH does not care for the spa and I usually get the spa pass for the week with our OBC from our TA.

 

On the Breakaway we peeked in and saw the spa balcony. Looked about the same as a regular balcony except for the upgraded bath.

 

We were glad we stayed with the AFT and will be on the AFT again on the Getaway in Sept.

I would not move from a large balcony, but it really all depends on what you like. We would not use the spa, so that wouldn't be incentive for us. The large balcony is nice! We had it, and would book it again.

I see you changed your Epic cabin again. A woman has a right to change her mind but I cant keep up. I know you love those corner aft Epic balconies but was really looking forward to your Haven review ***sigh****

I couldn't pass it up, David. The price for the aft-facing had dropped so much, that the cost for my Epic cruise, plus our Haven suite on our Escape cruise, is cheaper than what I was paying for the Haven on the Epic. It just didn't make sense money-wise. I'm sorry :( I know you love the Haven on the Epic, and I really was looking forward to it. I just couldn't justify it after those huge price drops! I can't remember ever sailing this cheap for 3 people, and it's a holiday on top of it!
