Difference between a 5 day vs 7 day? SUN

Hubby and I have booked a 5 day cruise on the Sun from Vancouver to LA Sept. 29th to Oct 4th.

 

A bit of background: we are booked on the following week on the Sun on the Legendary Rhythm and Blues cruise from Oct. 4th to 11th. We thought it may be fun to go on the 5 day cruise, as it will be cheaper than hotel rooms (that we are willing to stay in) in LA just before the Oct. 4th segment. This is a fully chartered cruise and is one crazy party week, music starts at noon and jams go on til 6am. Sleep is overrated ;)

 

I checked the cruise prices and the 5 day cruise is was an absolute bargain. So we booked! The folks on the roll call all seem to have done the same as us, all guarantee cabins. Luck of the draw :)

 

We have only been on 7 day snooze cruises in the past. Three on NCL, plus several other cruiselines. It seems that all the usual activities and special nights all seem to be geared to 7 night cruises. So what is missing on the 5 day?

 

Will there be a white hot party? Behind the scenes tour? Murder mystery lunches? What gets dropped?
