martin4356111 Posted August 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2014 Evening all, We're cruising from Venice on the MSC Preziosa in September and on embarkation day, my nephew will turn 12. Does anyone know if MSC are able to do anything to mark the occasion. We were hoping they could put something in the room for him arriving? Just a thought to get his first cruise off to a nice start. Thanks Martin
JoLoca2208 Posted August 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2014 Hi Martin, One of our friends had a birthday on our last cruise. There was no decorations in the cabin or anything like that, but during dinner a group of waiters came over singing Happy Birthday and presented him with a birthday cake. AmoMondo Posted August 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) Contact MSC. UK (by FaceBook messaging is usually quickest) to let them know and ask for a birthday cake at dinner. I don't think they do cabin decorations and most of the things you can preorder for the cabin on arrival are more for adults, like Champagne, chocolate strawberries, flowers and that sort of thing. No harm in asking though. The waiters will definitely serenade him with Happy Birthday in Italian. The restaurant has access to everyone's date of birth. Welcome to Cruise Critic. Really nice to see someone else from my home town on here! Edited August 2, 2014 by AmoMondo
