just read a review and it said that coffee was an extra charge. Is that true or can I get coffee any time during the day? Thanks for the response..
The extra charge is only for specialty coffees. You can get free regular coffee in the dining room or at the buffet or from room service or at the aqua spa cafe or in the specialty restaurants (maybe somewhere else too that I am overlooking).

It is just that the quality of the free coffee can vary tremendously, from not bad at all to dreadful. :D

We usually find the worst coffee to be at the buffet, but even there you can move around from station to station and sometimes find better coffee at a different station, depending on which is the most recently brewed.

Some people prefer to bring along a french press, or those instant Via packs, and make their own coffee.

Just to add to FLECKLE's excellent post...

Cafe al Bacio is the Coffee Bar on-board (Celebrity's version of Starbucks... And the price mark up is similar)... Here you will find Premium Teas, Coffees, Hot Chocolate and Iced Teas & Coffees too... They also have a nice assortment of sweets.

Premium Beverages have an Upcharge at Cafe al Bacio, but the sweet eats are complimentary.

Hope this helps,

Cheers!

Do you have to buy a drink at Cafe Al bacio to be able to have the complimentary chocolates, cakes, etc. ? :)

On our cruises they have also had coffee by The Hideaway/library

On a recent sailing on the silhouette a group of some well raised teenagers took over the Hideaway for the entire 12 days. Moved all the furniture around and generally raised a ruckus. After the third day X removed the coffee service as no one was using it. Shame because our cabin was down the corridor and was nice to run down to the hideaway for a cup.

Hiya

This link has a copy of the Cafe Al Bacio menu halfway down the page - looks like about $3 for an espresso, $4.50 of a cappuccino, etc. - or included if you've got the drinks package
