With Bertha heading right up the east coast this week though out at sea, it seems the track has it right along the same path as these 2 ships take weekly. Think NCL may just may head them out way East with no stops? this way posted on the site yesterday....

At Norwegian Cruise Line, the safety and security of our guests and crew is of the utmost importance. Therefore, the company is closely monitoring the path of Tropical Storm Bertha.

At this time, all of our ships are sailing as scheduled. Should there be any updates, they will be immediately posted here.

If the current predictions hold, there will be very little concern as far as following the normal route for Gem. Breakaway may need to make adjustments, but I can't see her missing Bermuda. Dawn may have to make a route adjustment on her return to Boston, but that remains to be seen Here's the current graphic from TWC...

Forecasters are indicating that even with this projected route, conditions are not favorable for strengthening, and Bertha may just fizzle out.

Only time will tell...
