If I buy one today do you get the card by email? leaving on Sat.

The ecards are no more. This thread started years ago and they no longer offer the ecards. They are mailed and you definitely won't have it in time for Saturday.

One of my friends bought one and it came after he left. His son texted him a couple of days later the number and he put it into the kiosk and got the credit.

They're on AARP too

I've decided that the ones on AARP are the exact same engine. I see them available and unavailable at the same times. I have yet to see them available on one site and not available on the other...

Yes, it's the same distributor. A few months ago, I ordered some from Verizon and some from AARP and the two separate orders came in the same envelope.

when you get on board put the cards on your account. Go to a slot machine in the casino and take money out of your account to "play with". Cash out of the machine and take the receipt to the cashier for cash. Can't do at a table - only a slot machine.

If I have already paid my cruise balance, can I use this gift card on my on board expenses? How about in the casino?

You can put the GCs on your S&S account to pay for onboard purchases. When you play in the casino you charge your S&S account and add funds to your Player's Bank. So yes, you can play in the casino using the gift cards.
