Worfiedoodles Posted August 11, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2005 Hi! We have read here and on other boards that it is o.k. to take a soft-sided cooler full of soft drinks and beer onto Disney ships -- as long as there isn't any ice in them. We received our cruise docs earlier this week, and there's a special sentence devoted to telling us that coolers are not allowed. I don't want to pack it if we're not going to be able to use it, and I certainly don't want it confiscated! What has your experience been? Thanks for any and all advice! mrsfuzzmo Posted August 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2005 We had no trouble carrying on a couple of soft-sided coolers with some beverages onboard. As long as they are small enough to fit through the X-ray machines you should have no problem.

Jsme Posted August 13, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 13, 2005 I have not tried it but I plan on taking water with me in 3 weeks in my soft side roller Disney cooler.
babywewe Posted August 20, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 20, 2005 When they say no coolers they mean the big chunky hard things you bring to the beach. A soft cooler is more like an insolated bag. such as these http://polarbearcoolers.com/
Worfiedoodles Posted August 21, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted August 21, 2005 I have a Disney soft-sided rolling beach cooler. I'll let you know if it wasn't o.k. after we get back!
