pault95 Posted August 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2014 I am cruising on the Eclipse in a couple of weeks time, one of the excursions I wanted to book on the Celebrity web site stated "Online reservations are not available please check onboard" I contacted Celebrity who advised that this excursion was fully booked but to try on board as they also have an allocation. Has anybody any experience of this or should I book a different excursion before I travel to avoid disappointment ?
CHEZMARYLOU Posted August 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2014 We always thought they had an allocation of spots on board but on our Alaska cruise the excursion we were on was listed as sold out in the excursion list given out on boarding. It was a small group excursion, about 12 people, and the others were a family traveling together so maybe that's why. Mary Lou
bubblesqueaker Posted August 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2014 There were some cancellations on board (Eclipse - July) but I would have a back up in case. Perhaps book the other trip and then ask them to switch it if you get a cancellation. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
