AI question. Booking excursions

If one has booked with the ! Ahem, " all inclusive " , how do you book excursions? Should we book online and get a refund or wait til on board?

 

Already lost faith in seeking answers from NCL directly, I'll ask here and see what pans out....

I just did a mock excursion booking on my 2015 cruise with the AI. Upon viewing my cart, it's asking me to pay. When I booked a dining reservation on my 2014 cruise with UDP, it showed the total as $0.00.

 

My guess is that we will have to book the excursions once we are on board.
