Transportation around Seattle: HOHO or public?

We want to see s much of Seattle as possible in 4 days. Any comments on the Emerald City HOHO trolley? Are there now 2 routes?

We want to go to Ballard on Sunday for the market. What is the best way to get there, and back with time to visit a few brew pubs lo built in for the hubby?
