I could guesstimate it may have something to do with the current or predicted crime level on the island. Of course I could be wrong.*

 

*it could also be the port is overbooked which sadly is more and more common in that part of the world.

Thanks....although I don't think that Statia's problem is that the port is overbooked. :) I am kind of disappointed because it was the only cruiseline to stop at Statia and would have been something different. Oh well.
