Sihouette docks? Mykonos

Mykonos is a rare example of where tendering is better than berthing. Local boats are used, they're very efficient & drop you in the harbour in the centre of this small & attractive town.

If you berth you'll be about 2 miles from town, just a little too far to walk and shuttles are payable. They drop you on the edge of town, though it's only a 5 minute walk from there.

Your itinerary should say whether docked or tendered, but savvy cruise lines quote Mykonos as "may be by tender". Circumstances can change overnite depending on wind & tide, so don't place too much store by your itinerary saying that you'll be tendered, or that you'll be berthed.

Your best advice for timing is going to be your tour operator. And no need to worry if ship's plans change - they'll see where the ship is.

Just give them your ship, date, and planned arrival time.

Swapping phone numbers can be useful, especially if tendered, but you're very unlikely to suffer a significant delay in tendering.

BTW, unless you have a specific tour in mind, Mykonos town is exceptionally easy to wander without a guide.
