LA Quinta hotel port canaver

There are two La Quintas in Cocoa Beach-the high rise on the ocean has "Oceanfront" in the name, the single story on the other side of the street doesn't. Both are acceptable for a night, but the oceanfront one is a step up for sure.

Hi all,

Has anyone stayed here in cocoa beach ? I understand its close to port Canaveral. Is it Amy good ?

Wife and I flying in night before.

Any info helpful.

Thanks in advance.

We stayed there earlier this year and were pleased with hotel and location. Looked at booking it for our Sunshine cruise in 2015 but prices seem to have gone up. Got the Comfort Inn and Suites for $76 on hotwire-just for one night so should be fine. We are renting a car from Budget and picking up when we land. We will drop off the morning of our cruise and they will shuttle us to the port. After cruise we will take Travel Lynx shuttle back to Orlando airport.

I have stayed in the non-oceanfront several times and have always had a great experience. The Thai restaurant next door is amazing. I have also used the shuttle to the port and have also no problems. It is relatively close to the port but not in viewing distance.
