chubby_faye Posted August 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2014 We always book our next cruise while onboard but this year we don't have a set time or itinerary we want. Is it possible to book a dummy/ghost cruise and decide later? Has anyone done this? Thanks!

Just book the cheapest cruise as far out (date wise) you can, pay the deposit and then you can change it when you decide when you want to cruise when you get home. There is a time restriction and I don't remember exactly how long but I think 18 months?

Only restriction is the future cruise you take must be completed within 18 months of BOOKING DATE in order to retain the perks. You can move a future cruise date as many times as you wish, but if the cruise you wind up switching to will not be completed prior to the 18 month time frame, you will have to pay additional deposit for it and there's no OBC.
