TifffanyD Posted August 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2014 I have searched and found info on the passes but I am asking again in case anything has become out of date. Are these still available to the GP? How many are sold/how difficult are they to get? And what is the price? Anything else you can tell me about the Posh passes is appreciated! We had Haven rooms last cruise but that's not in the budget for this one!
Va. Plumber Posted August 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2014 They only sell 20 passes. You need to arrive at port early enough to get a very early boarding group. (We were in group 3). Upon boarding, beat a path to guest services. Enter ship in casino, head down the escalator. We got something like pass # 11 & 12. they were sold out by the time we processed. They charge around $59.00 each. Money well spent.
TifffanyD Posted August 18, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted August 18, 2014 OK - I will plan on it but not set my heart on it. I was hoping maybe they'd opened more passes by now
Rare genealogyfan Posted August 18, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2014 Here's the section about it from my review http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1827709 some pictures of the posh deck too http://public.fotki.com/avisn/norwegian-epic/dsc05266.html http://public.fotki.com/avisn/norwegian-epic/dsc05267.html#media We were boarding group #2, we arrived about 1015am we wanted to arrive early to board early and try to get posh club/deck passes – which we did and totally worth it. Thanks to the recommendations on this board. We arrived with guests still departing outside. We ended up being in boarding group 2 – and thanks to other cruise critic members I knew exactly how to get to the Guest Services desk (walked through the casino to the escalators). Yea! – we got posh passes. They are $59 for the week and even if you use them once it’s worth it. Although we used them multiple times Posh Pass/deck:, saw the wrong deck at first. If you go to the deck 18 above the buffet it’s open to the everyone – on the starboard side and if you walk towards the front of the ship – there is a section with similar seating as posh that I think is also open to everyone. That same deck also has deck chairs that aren’t used much at all too To get to the posh deck – the easiest is to use the glass elevator near the pool deck and buffet. While facing the pool – the elevator to use is on the right (don't be thrown by the sign saying Haven)– you need to insert your key card to access the elevator and then you have to insert your key again to access the 18th deck. Very quiet up there – not very crowded and your own bar. I think you can enter from the other side of the 18th deck and you have to insert your key card, but this is the easiest way. You can also use the stairs and then open the door to the posh area with your keycard. You are also given pink plastic bracelets you are supposed to wear while up there. Supposedly you're not supposed to be there until noon. We've arrived early for other cruises so just wanted to know what to expect overall? Thanks! brookie848 Posted February 14, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) Someone on our cruise last year wanted Posh and Spa passes so badly that she arrived at the port around 9:30. She was in group #1 and got both. She had to wait to actually board, but she got the group and the results she wanted, so it was worth it to her. For our cruise in a couple of weeks, we are staying at the Holiday Inn POM and I plan on us leaving for the port between 10:30 and 11:00. debk68 Posted February 17, 2015 #11 Share Posted February 17, 2015 If you wait until 10:30-11 to get to the pier, you may miss out. We arrived at terminal C at 8, (overnight flight, the next in line behind us was 9:15) they let us in the building at 9:45, through security and check in 10:30 on the ship 11:30. We were number 2 in line for the pass and I think the line behind us filled up in 5 minutes. I am guessing they were gone. It all depends on how many people know about them. When we were on the Epic last Spring Break, we were in boarding group 14 and still purchased them.

You enter through the casino. Go to your right and take escalator down to guest services.
