10 oz beer

Ever seen a 10 oz Michelobe Ultra?:confused: That is what they serve in the can on the Triumph. I never would have known except one day I had a huggie and the beer was too small:rolleyes:. They are slightly cheaper than a 12 oz Bud. They also had 14 oz plastic bottles.

And all along you probably thought you were buying 12oz:( . My DH would be really upset because he LOVES beer. I wonder if all the ships are like that.:confused:

That is the standard packaging size for Mich. Ultra. Bottles are 12 oz but cans have always been smaller. Not Carnival's doing.

I brought on a case of cans. 12 oz. So they are available, though I prefer bottles. :p Didn't last all that long. Also a case of Bud for the DH.

Yupper - and our group drank the ship dry of the Mich Ultra's on the Triumph 3 years ago! We found them to be quite cute and very easy to drink - a lot of fat heads in the a.m.!!!

When Mich Ultra first came out 10oz was the only way to buy in cans, or 12oz. bottles in this area, now we have 12oz. in both. Hopefully they will have 12oz. for our cruise, no need for baby beers.

On a cruise sometime in the past 2-3 years I remember getting a smaller sized Heineken - it was 10 oz. I don't think it was too much cheaper either. Can't remember the ship I was on then but that was the one and only time. Needless to say I quickly switched to another beer that was 12 oz.

Most canned beer you buy in the grocery store are of the 12 oz variety and you have to hunt for the 10oz cans.

 

 

Carnival only uses the 10oz cans.

 

It is a way to make it look like a deal.

My question is do you drink Ultra because of the low carbs? If so, Miller Light carbs are the same...
