MACKAM Posted August 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2014 As elite plus member we are entitled to 10% discount on specialty dining. If,during our upcoming cruise the Murano or Tuscan Grill have "quiet nights" for dinner reservations and are offering discounts, would the Elite perk still apply. Many thanks for advice
maggie.1008 Posted August 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 21, 2014 I believe it would be one or the other, not both.
TeaBag Posted August 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) The discount given, usually 20%, if there is one, is better than Elite +. It would be nice if you were able to combine the two. Edited August 21, 2014 by YVR cruiser

Many thanks for advice Last Nov we were in the line to book Murano, the person in front of us asked this very question. They were politely told, NO. But if looks really could kill:rolleyes:
MACKAM Posted August 21, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted August 21, 2014 I would not dream of doing that. Life to short (to stuff a mushroom). Thanks all
Andy Posted August 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 21, 2014 When a discount is offered onboard, it's not combinable with the Captains Club discount. Hope this helps !
teecee60 Posted August 21, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 21, 2014 We won't eat in any specialty restaurant unless we get a 50% discount. ;)
TeaBag Posted August 21, 2014 #8 Share Posted August 21, 2014 And you're the people who get such deals on cruises, they actually pay you to go?:D We're with you, we like 50% too.
EliseL Posted August 21, 2014 #9 Share Posted August 21, 2014 I'm new to Celebrity...what are "quiet nights"? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
ClaudiaB Posted August 21, 2014 #10 Share Posted August 21, 2014 I'm not sure, but I would guess quiet nights are nights that the restaurant isn't very full. First night on board is often "quiet." We always go first night and get a good deal.

If you are in traditional dining, you have to weigh that against going to MDR and meeting your table mates. :)
