Bottle water/pop

IF you are looking for bringing it on the ship- it is stated - On embarkation day, each guest may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages on board and only in their carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 bottles and/or cans, 20 ounces each or less.

Key factor is carry on. It is not allowed in luggage given to porters.

Be prepared though that depending on port, will open soda cartons and take cans out, shake water bottles that are in shrink wrapped flat. Never had any issues though - a good rolling backpack works well.

Are you able to bring back bottled water or canned beverages (redbull) at the ports? We are going on the Splendor in a couple of weeks with a group and are flying in the day of departure, so we won't have time to stop and purchase anything to carry onboard, but since we'll be in Boston on day 3 of the trip, I figured I could stock up for the rest of the trip while we're in town, as long as we can bring it back aboard...

For about 4x the price you pay at home; you can purchase bottle water and sodas to be delivered to your stateroom on embarkation day. (Carnival.com)

We ordered two cases of water and a couple bottles of hard alcohol and mixers. Out the door price, delivered $210.

For us the 4x price is worth it. We wont be paying extra for airline checked luggage. The weight savings and mitigating the stress of wondering if your items will make it, is well worth it.

If I lived in port, the effort to b.y.o. drinks might be worth it. Good luck! Vacation is to let loose!
