Does HAL offer a luggage service where they will transfer your luggage to the airport (for a fee) at the end of your cruise? We are trying to figure out what to do with luggage for a day in Boston when we have an evening flight. Thanks.

I used it in Seattle last week but according to the HAL website it is limited

Holland America Line is offering Luggage Direct in:

Fort Lauderdale

Los Angeles

Seattle

Tampa

Vancouver (canceled for 2014 Season)

You may want to contact HAL to verify.

Does anyone know if it's offered on cruises ending in Vancouver?

This site (on page 19) just lists three ports:http://www.hollandamerica.com/assets/cruise-vacation-onboard/KBYG.pdf

Luggage Direct is available on all or our vessels when sailing in and out of the following ports:

Anchorage

Fort Lauderdale

Seattle

For more information' date=' or to sign up go to [b']maketraveleasier.com/Holland[/b]

or call 1-877-847-0045 to speak to one of our customer service representatives.

And the above HAL link has even different information (however it isn't called "Luggage Direct" but looks like the same thing):

Participation Cruise Ports for Onboard Airline Check-In

Port of Miami

Port Everglades

Port Canaveral

Port of Seattle

Seward, Anchorage

Whittier, Anchorage

San Pedro, Los Angeles*

Port of San Diego*

Port of San Juan, Puerto Rico*

*Ports re-opening up soon.

It doesn't look like it is currently available in Vancouver; however, things change all the time. I'd definitely suggest calling Holland America to verify if it will be available there for your sailing.

Thanks for the replies. I have used Luggage Direct before and it is great and well worth the $$ ! This time we will be on a 3 week trip to Alaska and we need to bring clothes for all types of weather and conditions, including overnighting at a glacier ( Glamping ). So, needless to say, we'll have more luggage than we normally do and this service would be great ( since I also will have a son with Down Syndrome with me. )
