Transprotation from Ballentyne Pier

What is the best way of getting from the Ballentyne Pier after we depart the cruise to the Sheraton Wall Centre? I heard it is very hard to get a cab. Can we pre-book a limo? Can we take a bus?

come in and there will be plenty.We did have to wait about an hour for one.You can book a limo and there is no bus there.

What's the most cost efficient way to make the ride from the Ballantyne Pier to the River Rock Casino? The limo service we planned to use just changed their rate, mid-reservation, so we're back to square one on this last leg of our trip. I understand the limos require no reservation, but we'd use the "call phone" at the Pier. Anyone know the cab fare to the airport (I think that would be about the same rate).

call the casino and see if they will send their shuttle for you.You may wait for a long time if you call for a Limo at the Dock.

I'd guess a cab to Richmond to be in the $30-40 range. I checked into limos last week to go to Ballantyne Pier for our cruise next month. We are a few minutes south of Richmond and most limo companies wanted $100 or more for about a 40 min. ride. One was as cheap as $75. haven't decided yet. Might just get our son to play chauffeur. :rolleyes: Good luck and Happy Cruising
