We are considering a Panama Canal cruise for 2015 and were thinking of QV in April, Crystal Symphony in May,or maybe Oceania's Regatta or Seven Seas Navigator in September.

We have cruised with Cunard previously on the QM2 in 2010 in Queens Grill, and Seabourn since then.

We are thinking of Princess Grill on the QV for the April 2015 trip.

However my husband and I prefer the Seabourn style of cruising with a back deck restaurant situation for either inside or outside for all meals.

We seem to recall that QM2 didn't have an outdoor restaurant, and wonder if this is the same situation for QV ? Presumably there was a Pool Grill style eating area on QM2 and maybe the same on QV but the Seabourn was more of a restaurant style with tablecloths etc. in the evenings.

We do not expect the same level of food/service in the Princess Grill as the Queens, nor the standard of suite - however we are also wondering whether Princess Grill guests are able to access the Queens Grill lounge for afternoon tea and drinks after dinner ?
