Halloween!!! DressUp???

Me and my BFF are cruising over the Halloween weekend. Has anyone ever cruised for Halloween? Does Carnival do anything special? We are considering bringing a costume for the "event".

 

Give me ideas or tell me what you have done or experienced!

We cruised last Halloween and we were in the minority as non costumed people.

 

There were some really awesome costumes!

Trick or treating for the kids

Dance Party

Decorations

Special dessert

 

Guests handed out candy or had bowls of candy outside their rooms.

 

It was awesome!

We've cruised the last 2 Halloweens; not able to this year unfortunately. It's a blast.

 

In addition to the things fishymom mentioned, there was also a costume contest and a costume parade.

We will be on the Paradise for Halloween. This is our 4th Halloween cruise. It is loads of fun so definitely bring your best costume. We bring candy to hand out too. Cindy

We were booked on a Halloween cruise in 2015. But it got cancelled. The replacement cruise left on the 31st and we didn't think that would be as much fun as having Halloween near the middle or end of the cruise so we booked something else.

We're booked on a B2B, and the second leg begins on the 31st. I'm really not sure what to do since Halloween is on an embarkation day. I'm not sure if a lot of people will participate, or even if they will have the typical activities. Anyone sail out on Halloween before?

Last two years I've done the Halloween cruise, its a BLAST!!! And do bring costumes. I hate that I will miss this years..but had to buy a car instead.

We sailed over Halloween and it was a lot of fun. Most people were in costume, huge party in the atrium, special dessert in MDR, kids trick or treat and party, decorations and lots of photo ops with Halloween themed backgrounds. I think people will dress up and celebrate any day of the cruise whether first or last or somewhere in between. It's a good time.

Our Honeymoon was on a Carnival Magic Halloween cruise. It was a blast and people really bring it for the costumes. It was one of the best cruises I've been on.

bring costume in carry on for cruises leaving that day. I wore the pants with a black shirt later in the cruise and the t shirt with dark slacks, making three outfits.

Yep, I agree that Halloween is a total HOOT aboard ship. Most people do dress up in costume, along with many of the crew. Be advised, of course, that you can't bring weapons, even rubber swords etc., aboard. If you're a pirate, you'll have to leave the pistol and sword at home. ;) Bring your eye pad along though. :p
