sunnyretiree Posted September 1, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2014 I was told by agent who booked us that we can get on the ship immediately upon arriving early morning. Does anyone know if this is true? We've cruised many lines but not Oceania. I fell this is not correct information. Has anyone who previously took this cruise arrived the day of departure and went directly to the ship for embarkation?:)
canuck.qc Posted September 1, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2014 We did this trip in march. Your agent is correct. The 'usual' details for embark & disembark. -for this itinerary- is very different because of the challenging flight arrivals and departures. You should take a look at the posts from the Jan-April 2014 cruises. We took the deviation (if you have the time I highly recommend arriving 2-3 days precruise) We stayed at the IC Tahiti & Hilton Moorea. We walked onto the ship around noon, no crowds no problem. When the O charters arrived from the early flights it got very busy... Click here to contact me if you want more details
