I am looking for restaurant recommendations that serve good seafood near or a short taxi drive frome the Hampton Inn and Suites hotel pre cruise. Thanks

Maybe the best seafood restaurant in Isla Verde is Marisquería (Marie-s-ker-eeah) Atlantica which is about a 5-7 minute ride west on Isla Verde Ave. from the Hampton Inn. If you want a more casual "where the locals really eat" kind of place you can ask to be take to "Puerta del Mar" in Piñones (Pin-nee-oh-ness). Staff is friendly, food is very good, as well as portion sizes and prices are more realistic than on the Isla Verde restaurants. If you decide on Puerta del Mar, be sure to ask you cab driver to pick you up later or to get the number for the dispatcher.
