calisilent Posted September 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2014 Hi All! Does anyone know if there are DVD players in balcony cabins on the Carnival Conquest? Cathy
RWolver672 Posted September 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) No DVD players in the regular balcony cabins. And the remotes won't allow you to change to HDMI if you bring your own player. Edited September 2, 2014 by RWolver672

jamesr3939 Posted September 3, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 3, 2014 We had a grand suite which had a DVD player. The kids had non-suite cabins and our son brought a universal remote, went on line, found the code for the TV, and used the remote to access the inputs so he could use the Xbox. The in cabin remote won't allow you to switch to the other inputs.
T. Advisor King Posted September 3, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2014 There was a thread running earlier today about how to connect a DVD player to the ship's TV. It explained the need for a universal remote (and the smartphone option) to switch the input over.
