NOSaints1 Posted September 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Can you compare which would be for. 11 day, which has better passenger to deck ratio? Food and entertainment? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
NCTribeFan Posted September 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2014 The Spirit-class ships (Pride is one) are very different from Carnival's other builds. I much, much prefer them. They have a better space ratio and just have a better "flow" to them, imho. Still, I'd base my decision on the cost and itinerary. But, if those were fairly close, I'd definitely sail Pride. We love the Pride! Great ship and the friendliest crew! Will sail her every chance we get. :D

bunchesofun Posted September 3, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 3, 2014 The 11 is in Jan, how is it sailing out of Baltimore in the winter ? Sent from my iPhone using Forums We sailed on her the beginning of December and it was chilly outside the first couple of days, and the last couple of days. But other than that. Like the layout of the Pride. We sailed the Valor last and you can't get from one end of the ship to the other on all decks. You have to go down across and up, a real pain that doesn't exist on the Pride. We are booked on her again for 2015.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums There is no problem sailing out of Baltimore in the winter. It is cold the first day or so. We have done it several times. Will probably be doing the 11 and 10 day as a B2B in 2016. Edited September 3, 2014 by retiredgram
bab Posted September 3, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Have booked the Pride out of Baltimore for the 11-day (of course we're only 20 mins from the port :) ) and I figure it will be very cold out but after the 1st day or 2 the rest of the trip is in the Southern Caribbean so it will be warm warm warm - and it ends in San Juan so no back up the Atlantic in the cold weather. NOSaints1 Posted September 3, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Is it better to sail out of Galveston or Baltimore? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
NOSaints1 Posted September 3, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted September 3, 2014 My DW wants to book it around Dec after we get back from the Valor, do you think the price will go up after the Pride gets back from Drydock?
