Board time e-mail

I am going on my 1st Royal Carribean cruise in 2 days and I just got an e-mail stating that my board time is 2:30 (based on my deck). My flight gets in at 10:30 am so I am guessing I will be at the port by 11:30/12:00. Will I have to wait that whole time to board the ship?

 

Would have been nice if this were listed somewhere prior to booking the flight.

If you are boarding in the US, so far they are not enforcing the suggested boarding times. Show up when you want.

We never pay attention to that. We go to the ship as early as possible and are always on the ship nice and early.

You can ignore that email and just board when you get there.

But be prepared for queues if you turn up for a twelve boarding time
