Day rate for Fort Lauderdale

We booked a day room at the Rodeway for $49.99 plus tax after our cruise. The room is available from 10am-6pm, with a free shuttle from the cruiseport and free shuttle to the airport. I had to call as the booking website doesn't offer the day room. An acquaintance who lives in FLL recommended it to me.

I've never stayed there though - I hope it's decent! :)

Thanks, I'll look into that one!

We have also booked a day room at Rodeway. We come back from our cruise on Jan. 31 and our flight back leaves at 7:45. This will work out perfectly for us. Much better than sitting at the airport for 8 hours.

Hopefully, you can find this thread after you stay there and let us know your opinion.

I have a late plane departure the day we get off from a cruise. Any suggestions? Saw something about Roadway. Open to any hotels. Can you book online or need to call to reserve?

Thank you!

Roadway Inn. Call before and reserve.

Just keep in mind that they will be bringing the new passengers to the port to begin their vacations when you are coming off the ship that morning. You may have to wait a bit for pick up back to the hotel.

People get angry if they have to wait 15-20 min. But remember you were that excited passenger(s) the week before just wanting to get to that ship as early as possible!

When you get back to the hotel they will be busy with people checking out as well.

This is a hotel that a lot of people use pre/post cruise so it can get busy! Just pack some patience!

My husband and I did this last year and booked another day room for this year.

The hotel is old and has no elevators BUT the pool is very nice, the room was decent and it really beat having to wait at the airport for 6 to 8 hours. As was stated in another post, just be patient... there is a lot going on there. You will need to call and make this reservation but this is a guaranteed room and one cannot beat the price of $49.99! :D
