I highly recommend El Gaucho's. The steaks just melt in your mouth! They have a very extensive menu. Here is the link to their website: El Gaucho - Aruba I loved that we were there until 10, so we could do this.

Thanks for the tip. I checked out the menu and now I have a few months to decide what I want to order.:p

I also googled and found that sunset will be 6:36 pm on that day. Sunrise will be 7:06.

It's not so hard.

Step 1 - Go to the first page of the review you want to link to, highlight the url address, then right click and copy.

Step 2 - Go to your user cp, edit signature, then place the cursor where you want the link to show.

Step 3 - Click on the insert link icon above. right click in the box and click paste. your url address should now be in the box. click ok.

Step 4 - A line of text will now be where you had the cursor, and a section will be highlighted. Begin typing in your title and it will replace what was highlighted.

Step 5 - Once done, highlight the whole text, then adjust your font, size, color, etc to what you want it to be. You are done.

Have fun!!

I was so surprised when the rabbit showed up on the menu. I usually like to try this sort of stuff, but somehow it didn't appeal to me. Imagine our surprise when Ryan, "I only eat chicken", ordered it!!:)

I'm kind of a picky eater at home, but on cruises I "try" new things, except mushrooms, lol. I ordered the rabbit and found it MOST UNappetizing. Oh well, just didn't eat it. That's why I love cruising.

Liberty was our last cruise so I am fondly reminiscing as I read your review.

Thank you.

Welcome to Curacao!!!

We were up at 6:30am, in plenty of time to take some sunrise pictures, and watch us arrive in Curacao. The sun is rising in the east…..

So, here are our plans for today. I was craving a beach day, but Patti and Ryan did not, so they booked the Willemstad Trolley Train tour, and I booked the Beach Fun by Boat tour. They would be getting off the ship at 8am, and I would be getting off the ship at 10am. So I went up to Emile’s for a nice omelet breakfast, and then went to check emails from home. In the meantime, Patti and Ryan have left the ship…..

Excursion Description

Experience the beauty and history of Curacao on this enchanting 40 minute trolley train ride.

• Beginning at Fort Amsterdam, you’ll ride past the Floating Market and on to the former residential neighborhood of Scharloo and the famous “wedding cake house”.

• Stop at the Pietermaai Cathedral for an inside visit.

• Ride past many interesting sights, including the Mikve Israel Emmanuel Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in the Western Hemisphere, Queen Wilhelmina Park, and Waterfort Arches.

• Finally, you will visit Fort Amsterdam, built in 1635 to guard the vital entrance to the harbor from enemy ships.

• At the end of the excursion, you may return by taxi to your ship or stay in town independently.

• If you opt to stay in town, you will be responsible for your return to the ship, which is a short walking distance.

NOTE: Your 15 minute transportation to and from the trolley train is by local taxi and is included in the tour price. The cathedral may be closed on certain occasions.

At this point the Trolley Tour ended, so Patti and Ryan continued their tour on foot. Here’s Ryan posing with the HUGE Curacao sign…..

Excursion Overview

Enjoy a boat ride along Curacao's coastline and enjoy the beautiful Seaquarium beach.

Excursion Description

Your relaxing time at the Beach begins with a scenic boat trip when you are picked up at the ship dock.

You will cruise to the Seaquarium dock. As you travel along Curacao’s coastline, you will have a view of Curacao’s notable monuments and beautiful beaches.

Upon arrival, you will be taken to Seaquarium beach area where you may simply relax on your complementary beach chair as you sip your complementary beverage.

Take a swim, a walk, or just sit beneath the shade of a coconut tree.

A bar and restaurant are located on the beach for your convenience.

NOTE: A swimsuit, towel, water shoes, and sunscreen are recommended. Snorkel equipment can be rented on the boat.

I just grabbed a free lounger in the back under a palm tree, and alternated between relaxing there, swimming, and the beach bar.

Coming up next: Patti and Ryan’s walking tour, more beach time, and sail away.

I'm enjoying your review. Thanks for posting it. I have a question. What is the correct pronunciation of Curacao?

Go into dictionary.com and enter curacao. When it comes up there will be a little speaker symbol next to the word and if you click on it you will hear someone say "coor-a-sow"

Hope this helps.
