Room / level question

Over time, we have been on every deck on the ship, in both inside and balcony cabins. Before I became familiar with CC, I didn't know about how to pick a cabin -- just took what they gave me, more or less, since I didn't know any better. And still, we have NEVER had any issues about noise or vibration.

 

I think people (myself included :o) tend to obsess a little too much over cabin location any more. IMO.

In my experience (we've encountered some noise issues on just a couple of cruises)...

 

The biggest concern is not getting a room under anywhere that may be prone to furniture movement. Or under the galley. Hearing stuff being dropped or dragged around on the floor above you for looong minutes, or maybe hours, and sometimes late at night, is no fun at all.
