carol louise Posted April 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2004 You might try Ultra-Swim. It's a shampoo designed to remove chlorine, neutralize the odor, and re-moisturize your hair after swimming in a pool. Maybe it would work on the effects of ocean salt, too. It is sold in some drugstores.

Happy ks Posted April 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2004 Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two. It's a little more deep cleaning than many others. Or, just lather, rinse, repeat with any good quality shampoo. Don't forget to use conditioner after shampooing, starting at the ends and work your way up, keeping it off your scalp. Use a wide tooth comb after to get the tangles out, no brushing wet hair, it causes hair to snap off. I could do a paragraph on shampooing, but it may be boring. By the way, Bananatami, I love your enthusiasm! Kathy

bananatami Posted April 20, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted April 20, 2004 I'm 21 and a huge kid at heart. I always use loreal kids, love the fruity smells. I usually use it after a more adult shampoo and then use the loreal kids. I just love the smell (watermelon is my fave) and most the time half tempted to eat it. which I never understood. I have a culinary and a nutrition degree and one thing that you learn in nutrition class is that what you "taste" is actually caused by smell, all you actually "taste" is sweet, salty, bitter, sour. if that were true, that shampoo would make a great dessert and I dont know about any of you, but have you ever got any of that wonderful fruity smelling shampoo in your mouth!?!?!? not a pretty picture!
