TrumpyNor Posted September 9, 2014 #26 Share Posted September 9, 2014 The part you quoted is talking about people under 18, not under 21. People between 18 and 21 just need an adult in the same cabin. Sorry, I didn't see that until after it was posted.... :)
Mikä1539185720 Posted September 9, 2014 Author #27 Share Posted September 9, 2014 So, I called NCL and talked to a rep, there is absolutely no way she can drink without the parent consent form. I asked about if we were married and still is no. To answer a couple of questions that people had, I am 40, she is 20. Yes I know its quite an age difference. Also, Ive seen a lot of people saying "his fiance", we are both female.

sjbdtz Posted September 9, 2014 #29 Share Posted September 9, 2014 I am suggesting that her fiancé is in fact her "acting parent" Sent from my iPhone using Forums Really? Are you suggesting I married my father? Strange thing is that he's younger than me. *****RHPS Break****** Let's to the time warp again.... :p . Mikä1539185720 Posted September 9, 2014 Author #30 Share Posted September 9, 2014 Drinking isn't that big of a deal to us, we really aren't big drinker, it would have been nice to have the option though. I guess if she really wants to have a drink I can bring something back to the room from the bar.

CPT Trips Posted September 9, 2014 #32 Share Posted September 9, 2014 I get the parent thing but just for arguments sake... What about a married 20 year old? What about an orphaned 20 year old traveling with an older friend? Parents just do not always exist Sent from my iPhone using Forums And for almost all purposes in the US, an 18 year old doesn't need a parent. But, in international waters, NCL gets to set their own rules.
mpk218 Posted September 9, 2014 #33 Share Posted September 9, 2014 Im not suggesting you do anything . But I think you will find it more difficult keeping the drink servers away from her than the other way around... I cant tell you how many times I need to remind the dining room waiter to stop filling my 17 yr olds wine glass.. Go with the flow ;)
