I am a nut for designer purses,only the real ones,I don't do fakes.I am planning to go to either Cozumel,Grand Caymen and Ocho Rios,or Aruba,St Martin,Curaco. Where would I be able to find real Louis Vuitton,Coach or Christian Dior? What are prices compared to the U.S.?

In those ports you'll find them only in the designers stores, such as a Cartier Store, a Dior store, etc. You can also check out the prices in the airport dutyfree stores.
I wouldn't buy them from other places on the islands. Good chance they'll be fake.

What I do when I travel is price my favorites and then compare the prices in local stores.
I shop online with stores like Neiman or Sak's and print up a photo of the bags I like - or I cut them out from the catalogs they mail me.
This way when I see them, I don't guess about how much they are at home.

I was wondering the same thing, as I'm an avid Coach and LV fan myself. I was told that they didn't have any LV authorized resellers at any of our ports of call.

I'll just take my black LV mini sac HL with me to keep me company!

I think St Martin had a coach outlet store. I did buy a coach purse in San Juan at the outlet there but only saved $50. But that still is a savings. All the LV I came across were fake and pretty expensive to. Why would I spend even $50 on fake. The only place I found a real LV was in Nassau. It was a very small bag but I know it retails at around $300 and it was priced at $89.

lisajoy, do you remember where in Nassau you found that LV? I'm a HUGE nut for bags myself, Chanel, LV, Gucci, etc., etc., etc. My ebay handle is "purse-diva", lol.

I really wish I could remember the name. It was one of the last ally ways before the strawmarket. I know they sold shoes and purses. Sorry I can't help you more.

According to the vuitton.com website, the only authorized resellers for LV is St. Barts, Bermuda and Puerto Rico.
