Traditionally DCL has the movie showing onboard the SAME day it is released in theaters. So if the movie is released on Christmas day in theaters, it should also premier onboard the same day. theflyingturtle Posted September 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 12, 2014 We saw Frozen on opening day last year. They showed it in multiple theaters (including the main show theater) all day long to handle the crowd.

karin5 Posted September 13, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 13, 2014 When we were on the Wonder last year, Monsters University was released in the theaters. Disney had it on the ship too. First showing was at midnight on the release day, and then it was shown many more times during the cruise. By the way, their movie theater was beautiful and the seats were comfy. Shmoo here Posted September 14, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 14, 2014 They also have free on demand movies in your cabin. Sent from my iPhone using Forums On the Dream and Fantasy. On the Wonder (and last I knew the Magic) there are dedicated movie channels that the movies run on a loop 24/7. But not "On Demand".
