eddieg07410 Posted October 15, 2014 #28 Share Posted October 15, 2014 I will be on from January 18-25th. The price was right, couldnt pass it up! We just booked this cruise as well. Didn't see a roll call so just started one. Like you, got a deal we couldn't pass up. We did a transatlantic on Ruby in September. If this cruise is half as good as that one we will be quite happy. Rare richstowe Posted October 17, 2014 #31 Share Posted October 17, 2014 Thanx for the info azdmelani . We have just booked a "sideways" inside cabin like yours. How did it work out . Looking at others posts , this version is said to be a slightly better use of space. Do you agree ? Any downside ? We have A217 .
Daisyloo Posted October 17, 2014 #32 Share Posted October 17, 2014 So glad to hear that you enjoyed the Regal. We are sailing on her in November. It was a spur of the moment decision, so not a lot of research went into the choice, but since we booked it I have read a few not so positive reviews on her. So it's nice to read a positive one. Looking at others posts , this version is said to be a slightly better use of space. Do you agree ? Any downside ? We have A217 . We loved the set up! You walk right into the beds versus a hallway with the bathroom, but the space was utlilized much better. We had more shelving space, sectioned closets and i think a bigger space in the bedroom. Would 100% stay in our cabin again. Enjoy your cruise!
cruiseintoheaven Posted October 19, 2014 #34 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Hi Azdmelani, it was a fantastic cruise - we were in R735 so only along from you! The ship is amazing and the staff are, on the whole, welcoming, attentive and friendly. We are still in Barcelona but will do a review when we get home next week. Hi there, don't mean to chime in off topic, but noticed when skimming the thread your cabin - we are in R734 in less than 3 weeks so curious about the dreaded soot issue? Thanks! :)
