Derbie Posted September 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2014 I am thinking about a future sailing, and I was wondering if all of the Carnival ships have these type of rooms? I know they sell out quick, so I thought I might try to get on it soon. Thanks in advance!

We are sailing on the Sunshine, and we tried to get one, and they were already booked. They have huge windows that go from the floor to the ceiling. They are not the normal ocean view windows. No they do not. No Spirit class ship has them-- I think there are 4 ships that have it. Valor, Conquest, Glory and Sunshine. I am not sure about the Liberty. There rooms are oceanvuiew cabins 6J and 6K sometimes these cabins cost more then a balcony. http://pictures.cruisecritic.com/data/513/Valor_Feb11_002.jpg at once upon a time some ships featured floor to ceiling windows as family oceanviews-- but these cabins were made into SPA balconies. Carnival_Brides Posted September 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2014 I think all of the Conquest class (Valor, Conquest, Glory, and Freedom) and Sunshine have them. They sell out quickly and CCL doesn't always put them in the online inventory.

cruizinisthebest Posted September 16, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 16, 2014 There are 5 ships total that have them: 4 Conquest class - Valor, Glory, Conquest, and Freedom 1 Sunshine Class- Carnival Sunshine The two larger cabins on the ends are 6Ks (grand scenic oceanviews) and are right next door to the captain suites. These have two large floor to ceiling windows and vary between 320-330 sq. ft. depending on the ship. The 4 interiors are 6Js (scenic oceanviews) and are between 220-230 sq. ft depending on the ship. They have one floor to ceiling window. You'll need to look at the deck plans for specific occupancy limits. Not every cabin holds the same number of people on every ship. The Sunshine 6Ks, for example, both sleep 4. On other ships it's 4 is one and 2 in the other. Book early. And if you don't see them available online, call. I just booked one for the second time and it never showed available on Carnival's site.

I booked a 6K and it never showed online but both were available over the phone.
near the beach Posted September 17, 2014 #9 Share Posted September 17, 2014 We had a 6J on the Sunshine. It was a very nice cabin. We have been trying to get one on the Sunshine again for next summer and have yet to find a cruise that they were not sold out.
