Macklovin38 Posted September 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2014 I read reviews of the Dream and I don't seem to read much on the burrito bar specifically. Did you try it? Did you like it? What was the best? What was the worst? Thanks for your help! EL Capitan Z Posted September 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2014 The Burrito Bar is excellent. I had shrimp and steak. With corn salsa, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Enjoy. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Macklovin38 Posted September 18, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted September 18, 2014 Thank you. I'm excited for it but started to worry when I didn't read much about it. Titan_Cruiser Posted September 18, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 18, 2014 Where is the burrito bar? We will be on the dream in a few weeks and I want to make sure to try it. Is it open for lunch during embarkation?
DKF97 Posted September 18, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2014 Loved it, I'm not much of a meat eater, I get black beans, so can't tell you how that tastes, but loved everything else! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Hotdog 52 Posted September 18, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 18, 2014 We had the shrimp burrito with extra shrimp, sour cream, onions and bell pepper. They were great.:)

uapyro Posted September 18, 2014 #10 Share Posted September 18, 2014 It's pretty good. This time around (I also went on the Dream last Oct) they ran out of steak and lettuce one day. I'm slightly weird and would actually prefer ground beef to steak, but for the steak they have it's pretty good.
Rare crewsweeper Posted September 18, 2014 #11 Share Posted September 18, 2014 IMO, If you like Moe's or Chipotle you'll find the Burrito bar (or Blue Iguana) to be very good. If you're not into Americanized Mexican street food, preferring the real thing, or the small tiendas or food truck versions, you'll find the Burrito Bar(or Blue Iguana) kinda "meh"! But outside of the Tandoori, one of the better alternatives for lunch on board.
parrothead74 Posted September 18, 2014 #12 Share Posted September 18, 2014 Blue Iguana breakfast is awesome! Hot grilled buttery cheesy corn Arepas, Huevos Rancheros, and Breakfast Burritos... Heaven. They have a great fresh salsa bar too. I wasn't on the Dream but her sister ship the Breeze. Same deal.
WAHMto5 Posted September 18, 2014 #13 Share Posted September 18, 2014 Blue Iguana breakfast is awesome! Hot grilled buttery cheesy corn Arepas, Huevos Rancheros, and Breakfast Burritos... Heaven. They have a great fresh salsa bar too. I wasn't on the Dream but her sister ship the Breeze. Same deal. The Dream only has a small burrito bar in the center area of the buffet, they don't have the Blue Iguana:( Though I do agree with you, I love the Blue Iguana for breakfast and especially the fresh tortillas! Smokin J Posted September 18, 2014 #14 Share Posted September 18, 2014 It's Great. Also try the Pasta restaurant located right above the Burrito bar. They have a LASAGNA that is made with roast beef "BEST I'VE EVER HAD" Mr J
Retired_to_Cruise Posted September 18, 2014 #15 Share Posted September 18, 2014 There is a burrito/taco station in the Lido buffet area on the Dream, BUT, it is not a Blue Iguana Burrito area just like there is no Guy's Burger area on the Dream. Macklovin38 Posted September 18, 2014 Author #16 Share Posted September 18, 2014 Thanks everyone for your help. I'm excited to hear that it is similar to a Chipotle or Moes. Yummy! I'm also excited about the Tandoori and the pasta. It's no wonder I gain 5lbs every cruise. 😂 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
