Brilliance Of The Seas - Honest Opinions

Was on the Brilliance last year out of Tampa and loved it. The port was small and the people very nice. The ship is great. You really have to explore to find things though. I am used to a promenade ship so it was hard figuring things out for a few days. One things that I thought was hysterical is you can't smoke on your balconies but as soon as you step out of your room the boat smells of smoke from the casino. I would rather have people smoke on the balconies...more air movement. Have fun.

Got off Brilliance this past Monday and want to sail her again! Soon, but will have to wait till after a couple of land based trips.

Deck 6 was great for entertainment and never felt crowded, staff was great, food in MDR okay with excellent MDR service at our table. We had Peter and Nino.

Loved the new Crown & Anchor evening drink format. It was so nice to go to event in Viking Crown lounge if we waned OR enjoy a drink at one of the many bars! Royal Caribbean got has done a great job with this change.

Our cabin was in great shape and cabin steward was excellent. Wendy was superb! We were deck 9 port side forward.

We had a couple of groups onboard and both were fun to interact with. One, a Bluegrass music gathering of approx. 300 had jam sessions onboard and it was good music! Other was a smaller square dancing group and it too was interesting to watch and listen to the calling of the steps/moves.

My wife and I are going on the TA May4,2015. Is there any dancing after 9:00?

Can't say specifically unless you are into disco or DJ music for after 9pm music/dancing up on deck 13. Lots of dance music played in Centrum with dancing there every evening as I recall. For sure dancing music played during most of the dinner hours if not whole time.
