And just found out my friends are going on the same cruise, so no choice but to book. $11 K for 6 of us 2 separate cabins - you snooze you lose... Booking cruises is like gambling. LOL.

Prices just seem to be going up. We are on the breakaway November 30 and you would think prices WOULDNT be as high as they are at that time of the year but they keep rising. Glad we booked months ago.

We booked an 11 day Christmas and NYE cruise on the Pearl for Dec 2014 a year out. As of today (Sept 30. 2014) the price for our Balcony (BD) cabin has more than doubled, and I never saw it lower that what we paid.

We have 2 ocean view cabins booked on the Dawn 2 days after Christmas. $6k for the 6 of us in 2 cabins. Booked about 6 weeks ago.

Well I booked it. Cost me $3k more than what I'd pay 3 months ago but flip side is I save $2k on my flights. Too bad I didn't do it sooner but now I know not to hold out and book early and check. I'll bet with my luck the price now will go down...
