What beverages are free on the Dawn?

I have heard a few different versions of what beverages are free and available 24/7 on the Dawn - lemonade, iced tea, fruit punch....

 

Can a recent sailer confirm?

Just sailed on the Dawn -in the buffet there were machines that dispensed iced tea, lemonade, water and flavored water. In the restaurants iced tea and lemonade were delivered at no charge, also coffee. Hope this helps.

Nothing is free.

Some things are included: water, tea, coffee, some juice.

Various combo fruity drinks (non-carbonated) from a self serve drink dispenser. Can't remember exact names, or flavors. There was always lemonade as a choice at lunch & dinner. Those same machines in the buffet also dispense OJ, and apple juice at breakfast. The apple juice was more like flavored water, sometimes weak, sometimes very sweet. Never tried the OJ.

 

Milk is also ALWAYS available in buffet (skim & whole), along with cofffee & tea, but I've never tried to get anything after midnight. I don't know whether these are available in the wee hours.

I have seen a post where someone mentioned fruit punch as being one of the complimentary beverages - maybe the flavoured water? :rolleyes:

Always, or almost always, available:

Water

coffee

tea

iced tea

lemonade

milk (whole? I can't remember)

skim milk

orange juice

apple juice

cranberry juice

strawberry kiwi water

tropical mango water

 

Yes, the juices were available almost all the time--I had some juices for lunch/early afternoon, so it's not just at breakfast. We also saw magnets for other flavors of juices, so the juices may rotate; however, juices did not rotate during our cruise.

the fruit punch bit the dust a few years ago, wonder if people bringing "rumrunners" were using it with the rum and NCL cut off the mixer....

You can take regular cups/glasses/silverware/etc from the buffet or any other place back to your cabin, no problem. The room steward then takes them to be washed and returned.

i actually bring an insulated mug with me on the cruise - good for carting coffee around or even keeping a drink cold while lounging on deck! :)

When I booked it, the NCL agent told me that they replace the juice with Vitamin Water at lunch time. I assume that is what was mentioned with the Mango water? Not sure if REALLY Vitamin Water or just a look-a-like.
