fgresko Posted September 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2014 So, I booked a cruise online, I had to cancel, did it on line on Thursday, this morning(sunday) I have 2 emails saying my courtesy hold has expired! Wonder if I have to call to get my deposit back? Cruise is a year out, no time issues.

Rare orville99 Posted September 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Apparently the system that sends out those emails doesn't talk to the reservations system all that well. We usually do a courtesy hold to get the cabin we want, and then call C&A to transfer the booking to one of our NCC certificates. Like clockwork, two days after we complete the process with C&A, we get the "your courtesy hold has expired" email.
