OBC question

When princess advertises $200 OBC on the website and princess states "OBC applies to guest 1 and 2 only", does this mean per person ?

Yep. We booked one of these deals for late October and we each get the OBC.

Princess gave us $100 each. Should I give them a call? Cruise if Nov 10 on the Caribbean Princess.

When we booked our cruise the category of room indicated $200 OBC and both my husband and I have it listed on our cruise personalizer. Are you sure the category of room you booked has $200 OBC-- not all room categories have the same OBC. If you are in a $200 OBC category, I would call Princess if you booked directly with them, or your travel agent if you booked through them. Good luck!

We had booked a balcony on the Caribe deck Room C235 on 12 Sept. On 14 Sept received an upgrade notice to C 321. When we booked princess website showed $200 OBC. Thought it was OBC just for room not per person. New to cruising but after reading the forum and saw the deals folks were getting kinda started me thinking about the OBC. Language is not clear as website states $200 applies for guests 1 & 2 only.

You can always call Princess and ask. After final payment for a recent cruise I was given a refund to my credit card and OBC just by asking.

Definitely worth the phone call.

I'm pretty sure it's $100 per person, so a total of $200 for the cabin.

On a Princess roll call, they were talking about the cruise being virtually free with the $400 obc they received. $200 pp. I believe it was a Caribbean Princess in early November.

You may have booked on this promo...only the first two people get the obc. If you had a 3rd person with you s/he wouldn't get that obc.

It's $200 per person but only for the first two people in the cabin.

Total= $400 for the cruise. :D

Yep, just booked a short cruise this week on CP and we got $200 obc per person, total $400 which applied to all cabin grades including interior, nearly the price of the cruise. Great deal

Figured it out. Called princess. If I would have let Princess choose my room I would have got the $200 more in on board credits. I can take a chance and let princess choose and get the credit Just don't want a noisy room. Will give it some thoughts. Any advice?

I let them assign the room. Normally I wouldn't but for the extra OB credit I took the chance & let them assign it. Most times you won't get a bad cabin but it might not be in the area that you would pick if it were your choice and might involve a little extra walking.
